An Atlanta Wedding Story

On October 24th, 2015 one of my best friends got married at Atlantic Station in Atlanta, GA. We met in August of 2002. I had accepted a tennis scholarship to Bowling Green State University in Ohio and wasn't sure how I would adjust. I grew up in California and Chicago. My high school was huge and had about 1,000 kids in each grade. So I knew I could handle a big school.  I just wasn't sure about the rural environment. I love beautiful suburbs, with malls and good restaurants. Bowling Green, Ohio is in the middle of farms with no real shopping or restaurants anywhere. Lucky for me, our coach had put us in the same dorm and we latched on to each other from day one and didn't seperate for 4 years. After college I had a teaching job set up in Atlanta. The Alaskan Assassin was on the Falcons for a hot second and when he was traded to the practice squad in Baltimore, I told Andrea to go for the job. She has been flourishing in Georgia since then. She was teacher of the year and won the states 9.0 tennis championship and found the love of her life her there. Funny enough, he was a tennis player at Bowling Green the year before we got there and now is a pro at a club in Atlanta. They never met in Ohio, but found each other in Georgia. I love their story and them. Here are some pictures, from Manuel Llaneras Photography, that Andrea sent me last night.

Here are some of my pictures from the big day:
