Egg Hunts on the Bay

This Saturday we enjoyed brunch and Easter egg hunts with friends.  Shay Bae Bae is big into eating right now, so eggs, sausage and yogurt fruit parfaits made her day.  Roo loves any occasion to dress up and The Felon was so excited to spend the morning with his best friend searching for eggs, hitting piñatas and playing football. Since March Madness began he and The Alaskan Assassin have been playing one on one on our little basketball court. He unfortunately has learned things like, "In your face!" He also learned that you have to fight to get the ball out of his dad's hands. Somehow, that translated to football on Saturday and I realized that he didn't understand that once the player is tackled the play is over. The older boys couldn't comprehend why he continued to try and get the ball from everyone once they already were down. Raising boys is not for the faint of heart...  All these different sports and their different rules have to be frustrating for a 5 year old. I think I will make sure he understands that T-Ball is a none contact sport before the season begins.
