It is Palm Sunday and the church was PACKED! Palm Sunday marks Jesus's entrance into Jerusalem where he was welcomed with palm leaves laid before him by the crowd of believers. It also marks the start of holy week which is the beginning of the greatest tragedy to our church. Though today is the first day of Spring, we bundled up on our mile walk from our parking spot to the church because it was a brisk 37 degrees. Snow is expected tonight and I am guessing that Easter in the Hamptons is going to be way colder than the 70 degrees we enjoyed on Christmas day. If you are Catholic and ready to step up your game this week, try and make it to church for Holy Thursday, Good Friday and definitely Easter Sunday.
