My tiny dancer had her first ever dress rehearsal today with her ballet/tap class. She went to bed the night before so excited for the stage and woke up the next morning asking if it was time to go. The rehearsal wasn't until 4:00 so she was tortured all day in anticipation. She wanted a little mascara and lip gloss to go with her ballerina bun and one spritz of perfume because it was her special day. My mom was an Olympic gymnast so that was the route I took as a little, so this was really my first taste of the dance world as well. It was fabulous! Watching my little Fancy Nancy shine on stage with her best girls was beyond adorable. I hope she always has the confidence in herself and the zest for life she displayed today.
There was a fire drill during their second practice run and that is why the second video is a little off/hilarious.
