Sunday Best; On Island Time

Does anyone else sometimes lose track of the day (s) once they find a good book? I've been a book nerd my whole life. My mom would find me reading up in a tree in our backyard in Chicago from the moment I was able to complete chapter books. I'm a lot more careful with my book choices now that I realize it can affect my mood and parenting and wifeing for days after. So yesterday on my way home from church I decided to pop in to the book store to find a good read for our upcoming vacation. Something beachy, that flows easily and has a good love story.  I bought the one reccomend by the store clerk and decided to take a little peak at it before the vacation. That was a mistake because I ended up reading on the couch all day while the littles destroyed the house around me and then took naps out of boredom. I took a break to make our Sunday dessert with Punky, but that was really it for our Sunday. I guess this is what summer is about, though. just going with the flow and relaxing.
