A Malibu Wedding

The wait is over! Pictures are in and I cannot wait to share with you the most magical night we had celebrating my best friend's wedding.  I thought looking back on these pictures I would be so happy to see everyone and remember the day, but I'm slightly depressed. My best friend lives across the country in Santa Monica and I won't see her again until January. There is something about getting back together with your grade school girlfriends that just lifts your spirits and revitalizes your psyche. I need more of it in my life!


The dance party (wedding) was held at Saddlerock Ranch in the Malibu hills on September 5, 2015. Actually, at the very top of a very large and winding mountain. I only felt carsick the whole entire way up from West Lake Village.
 

Here is a picture of the bridesmaids getting ready in the bridal suite. I was the Matron of Honor.

When the car pulled into the ranch, my jaw dropped. It looked like a scene from Jurassic Park. There were water buffalo, zebras, a movie star giraffe, vineyards, rolling hills and trees dripping in chandeliers with two person swings attached. I'm guessing this is what Heaven looks like as well.

Roo was the flower girl and after a less than stellar performance at the dress rehearsal the night before, she nailed it.


 


 

The wedding party



The ceremony was on a big lawn and officiated by one of Erin's oldest friends, Carly.


I just adore this picture of my girls and the Alaskan Assassin!



Then came a quick cocktail hour set up at bars made of whiskey barrels followed by the dance party!



Evan's dance moves are unparalleled and he brings out the most fun side in my best friend.


We had sweatbands and flip flops and partied like rockstars.






And they lived happily ever after.
