There is a magical place 5 minutes from Sesame Place in Yardley, PA. The lights are supernatural. The food is sensational, affordable and makes you nostalgic for your own childhood. The Christmas trees are breath taking. There are snow machines blasting fake snow above you and there are carolers and Christmas music blasting around you. Its is truly a miraculous place that awakens all of your senses. This place is called Shady Brook Farm. Yesterday Santa arrived by helicopter at 4:00.
After greeting the jolly old man everyone enjoyed hot chocolate or spiced cider ( though it was 64 degrees), homemade kettle corn, and sandwiches from the farm store. Then we took in the light show.
Afterwards we bought our s'mores kit from the stand and set out to pick our fire pit. The s'mores kits are wrapped up in a big Christmas napkin and filled with chocolate bars, graham crackers and marshmallows and are tied to sticks for roasting.
We played on the play sets, admired the train show and grabbed some fresh wreaths before heading home with full tummies and happy hearts.
