Happy Friendsgiving!

Thanksgiving is to be shared with your family and Friendsgiving is to be shared with the friends that you have made your family. I married the Alaskan Assasin when I was 22 and he was 23. He was in and out of the NFL and Arena Football for a few years which meant that we moved around a lot. The one thing that we always made sure of is that we surrounded ourselves with good friends. Everyone needs a support system of pals that act as family when you are hundreds of miles away from your own.  So this year we threw a small friendsgiving gathering with our bests and their littles and let them know how thankful we are for them.  We feasted on local chicken, scallops, kale, cornbread, pomegranate and salad. Followed by turkey and leaf cookies and a fruit plate shaped as a turkey.

Don't mind the 41 + weeks pregnant woman. She has a pass to be inappropriate until this baby arrives.
