Some days you just feel like putting on a ruffle dress, flower crown and pink cowgirl boots. When you find a group of mamas you love and their little's birthday is days away from your Roo, you have to celebrate. The traffic in Bridgehampton was gone with summer, the day was gorgeous, the horse docile and Roo was terrified. She was intimidated by horses and didn't trust what they might do. That is why her smiles look forced, but she is seriously brave and wanted so badly to be apart of this with her girls. Days later we went to her girlfriends birthday party in Sagaponack and she road the pony six times. I asked her what changed and she said, "A little bit of you and a little bit of Jesus." You are crazier than a loon, Roo, and I love it.
