*somehow I did not get one picture of the felon. The boy was hiding in forts with his buddies the majority of the night.

Christmas Cookie Exchange 2015
I love any reason to have our friends over, but Jesus's birthday is my favorite cause for celebration. In keeping with the tradition, we started 3 years ago, we held a cookie exchange. We all bring two dozen treats and our littles and jingle and mingle from 4:00-6:00. The boys usually have nerf wars and light saber fights and our girls have tea parties and play with the dolls and strollers. We snack and chat and at the end of the night have tins filled with assorted treats to share with our families at Christmas. I usually wrap two large tins up for my grandmother and aunt and give them out on Christmas Eve. I love my littles excitement for this day. How they want to help bake and decorate and get all of their toys ready to share. Some of our friends even started a tradition of getting together the day before to bake together for the party. Our house is now stocked for Christmas vacation and ALL of the littles treated me to a sleep in past 7:00. My first 7 hours of sleep in over ten months. A Christmad Miracle! I'm pretty much a new woman now.
