The Polar Express

The good news is that I am going on my 31st Christmas and I still can hear Santa's reindeer bells. I'm pretty sure the Alaskan Assassin can and I am positive my three littles can hear them as well! We boarded the Polar Express on the steam engine from Essex, CT. The hot cocoa and sugar cookies were waiting. As well as a very stocked bar and bartender because we splurged and tried out the first class cabin this year.  I actually think I prefer the regular train cars because those seats are benches where the family faces each other and these chairs were large leather chairs all facing the middle aisle. Not as quaint. Regardless of our seats, we sang our hearts out to every Christmas song ever made. We boogied our tushies along with the elves and rang our jingle bells, from Santa, with all of our might. On the way back from the North Pole we tried to see our Alaskan grandparents out the window, but our Christmas spirit had the train running so fast we missed them. I hope my littles will always be able to hear the sound of Santa's bells!
